Community Table Project
Abraham Cazares is the program coordinator of the Community Table Project at the Student Farm, an effort focused on addressing inequities around food access and program accessibility at UC Davis. A recent UC Davis graduate with a degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems, he first planted his roots at the Student Farm where he worked as a student employee for 2 years during his undergraduate education. He then worked at a local 20 acre diversified crop and poultry farm for 2 years after graduating before returning to the campus once again.
Originally from Oxnard, CA, he came to Davis to learn about sustainable food production methods, and how the negative impacts of modern day farming in underserved and exploited agricultural communities can be better addressed.
