Food System Informatics

Courtney Riggle is Sustainability Specialist with the Agricultural Sustainability Institute at UC Davis (ASI), and co-leads ASI's Food System Informatics Program (FSI), through which she manages the program's sustainable sourcing of agricultural raw materials research area. Her work focuses on building better informational connections between supply chains and regional landscapes to inform sustainable decision-making. Prior to joining ASI, Courtney worked with the University of California Small Farm Program, the World Affairs Council of Northern California, the USDA Cochran Fellowship Program, and within the Mexican Social Services Ministry (SEDESOL) and Mexican research university (CIDE). Courtney has a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Chicago (international environmental resource management) and a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Stanford University.
