To help support our operations, we sell our tomatoes and wheat to the UC Davis campus and to local buyers. Our tomatoes are made into tomato sauce and our wheat is used in pizza dough at the UC Davis Dining Services, which feeds students across campus. Tomatoes are also sold to local tomato processors, like most of the tomatoes grown in the region.
Russell Ranch also dries and sells organic dried tomatoes through campus channels. UC Davis Dining Services includes the dried tomatoes in dishes all year long (e.g. dried tomato pesto), and bags of tomatoes are available at the Memorial Union Coffeehouse, the UC Davis Medical Center, and for purchase through the UC Davis Bookstore.
