Long Term Data Sets
As of September 2016, the Russell Ranch online database is undergoing maintenance. Most data are available by contacting Kristina Wolf directly.
Available data may include, but are not limited to, soil properties (carbon, nitrogen, ammonium, nitrate, potassium, phosphorus, and sulfur; bulk density; organic matter; hydraulic properties, particle size distribution and texture); compost analyses; harvest data (yield for corn, alfalfa, wheat, tomato, sudangrass, and cover crops); operations data (planting dates, pesticide applications, fertilizer applications, harvest information); weather data; weed data (species, counts, density); imagery data (NDVI); and water analyses.
We are working to migrate the database to a new, more user-friendly platform. Please contact Kristina Wolf (above) with any questions. Thank you.
To receive access to Russell Ranch’s long-term data sets, please fill out the form below. Once you have filled out the form, a password will be generated that you can use to log-in to the database. Please save the password as you can use it to bypass the form for future access. The information entered will only be used for internal analysis and to follow-up on potential requests for data usage. The long-term data sets include yield, elemental content, soil data and irrigation amounts since 1994. The data sets are not complete and more data will be added soon - email Kristina Wolf with requests for additional data.
