You're invited to join the Student Collaborative Organic Plant Breeding Education (SCOPE) field day at the UC Davis Student Farm Shop on Tuesday, August 19th from 9-11AM. 

We will have a tour and talk from our lead student breeders of the SCOPE summer field breeding projects in organic fresh market tomatoes and cut zinnias. Also hear breeding project progress reports on our winter crops: celtuce, spinach, and wheat. We will wrap up the event with a demonstration of how to stone mill wheat and a tomato taste test. 

All are welcome, whether you’re a student, farmer, researcher, or are just interested in plants!
