Join us to celebrate the fall and welcome the winter with feasting and flower crafting.
When & What:
- 4:30-6:30pm - Flower Crafting (wreaths and arrangements with dried and fresh foliage and flowers.
- 5:00pm - Welcome and Community Reflection. Reflect on what the past year has brought, what the coming year will bring, and what we bring to the people and places we love.
- 5:00-7:00pm - Potluck Feast
Feast and Foliage is a time to reflect on the bounty of the harvest at the Student Farm and share our gratitude for all we have and each other. Come join us for an evening of fun crafting making dried flower and herb wreaths and bouquets, plus a community potluck for all to share!
What to bring:
- A food to share - bring something seasonal or something that reminds you of home. Sweet or savory; a little or a lot. With the uncertainty of SNAP funds and other impacts to community supports, we recognize that not all of our community members will be able to bring a dish. We still encourage folks to come enjoy the event, but please do RSVP so that we can prepare to have food for everyone.
- Your own plate, cup and silverware. We will have a wash station set up to clean dishes during the event.
- Something to add into your wreath or arrangement (if you'd like)
RSVP is not required, but will help us know how many people to be ready for, and will help others decide what to bring.
We look forward to seeing you at this year's Feast and Foliage celebration!
