Student Collaborative Organic Plant Breeding Education (SCOPE) is having a field day on Thursday, September 7th from 9-11 am at the Student Farm Shop. Hear from lead student breeders of the SCOPE projects in organic fresh market tomatoes, cut zinnias, celtuce, and wheat. The event will end with a demonstration of how to stone mill wheat and a tomato taste test. All are welcome, whether you’re a student, farmer, researcher, or are just interested in plants! Bring your own shirt or tote bag for screen printing from 8:30-9 am.

Bike parking is available at the Bowley Plant Sciences Building. Car parking is available along Ext Center Dr or in Visitor parking lot 30 for $15/day through the AMP parking app. We can cover parking fees for a limited number of attendees based upon need.
